Her partner, Iliana Ruiz, worked for over two decades as an attorney before deciding to pursue her life’s true passion. She saw the intense creative and financial potential of working with a gifted artist such as Nina, and accepted Nina’s offer to become involved in her career. Nina, at the behest of her friends and family, formed the company in 2005 and immediately began selling her pieces to the public.
